Groups at Greenway
Greenway provides space, room hire and facilities for a number of local groups which meet at the Centre on a regular basis.
Weight Management Group
Previously known as 'the Greenway Slimmers', this group meets every Wednesday morning at 9.30am in Greenway Women's Centre.
Members take part in a weekly 'weigh in' and Body Mass Index check and can track their progress on an individual record card. They also swap information and tips on weight management and receive encouragement and support.
Everyone is welcome to join the Weight Management Group, whether they are interested in losing a few pounds, need encouragement to maintain their goal weight or are simply looking for help and advice to follow a healthy eating plan.
If you would like more information on the Weight Management Group, including details of costs and bonuses, please contact Gerry McKeown or Julieanne Thompson at Greenway Women's Centre.
Write Here Write Now
Write Here Write Now is a writing group which meets each Friday at Greenway Women's Centre, from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Each week the group explores different forms of writing, from short fiction and poetry to factual writing and real life experiences.
The members of the group enjoy getting together to share their stories and experiences and to learn from each other in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.
New members are always welcome, so if you are interested in writing, in any form, and would like to take the opportunity to explore and develop that interest, contact Greenway Women's Centre to find out more.
If you would like more information on Write Here Write Now, including fees, or are interested in joining the group, please contact Greenway Women's Centre.
